Motorless Flight Enterprises of Glastonbury, CT was the importer according to the first Bill of Sale, dated November 26, 1970. They sold it to it’s first "real" owner, Donald L. McCann of Los Angeles, CA on February 18, 1971. Donald flew it for five years before selling it, on June 3, 1976, to a partnership between Reuben G. Klammer and John N. Heater, of Palos Verdes Estates, CA. On November 10, 1982, Klammer bought out his partner to become sole owner. Klammer sold it to Jay R. (Rod) McIntire of Chadd's Ford, PA in 1990. (Rod now lives in Provo, UT.) Rod had to sell a few months later due to his being transferred to the Middle East which ended up being for 8 years. (Rod hated to part with it as it had very low hours on the ship and was in great condition.) McIntire sold it in December of 1990 to Thomas G. Tyson of Greensboro, NC. Thomas, in turn, kept it only a few months before selling it on April 1, 1991 to the current owner. Tyson had a automobile accident within a few miles after leaving with his newly purchased plane, about ten miles north of Rod's house in Chadd's Ford, PA as he was towing it to Tom Knauff's for a pre-purchase inspection. It was a rainy Saturday morning and he was driving in city traffic at well below the speed limit, which meant everyone was rushing past him. A mni van passed, then pulled in right in front of him and stopped abruptly to keep from running a red light. He ALMOST got stopped before he slid into the back of the van. Total damage to Tom's truck was a slightly buckled hood and left front fender. The glider was not damaged in any way, thought the articulated fuselage nose support in the trailer was bent when the glider fuselage slid forward about two inches. He continued on to Tom's and after a thorough inspection later that week, Paul Weeden pronounced it one of the best preserved Cirri he had ever seen. He towed it back to North Carolina where it flew it at Swan Creek Gliderport in Elkin, NC, just east of the Smokies. Tom last flew it at Art Mathews' airfield in the Saquatchie Valley just before Dr. Puckett purchased it. Puckett put about 600 hours on it while getting Diamond goal and distance badges before selling it to Joe Flores in 2002.
